Kirsty is a skilled Myotherapist and Pilates Instructor. With more than a decade of experience working in private practice, Kirsty uses a holistic approach to help reduce and prevent musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. During Myotherapy consultations, a variety of manual therapy techniques are employed, such as soft tissue massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, joint mobilisation and Dry Needling. Kirsty has experience with acute and chronic pain, sporting injuries, back and neck pain, headaches and migraines, and pregnancy-related pain.

Her passion for leading an active lifestyle and living in the best version of your own body has led Kirsty to discover Pilates. She feels that this has been the perfect link between the treatment room and a lasting return to full function and improved health.

Kirsty has completed a Certificate of Comprehensive Reformer Series with Polestar Pilates Australia, and is currently expanding her repertoire, undertaking the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Series. Pilates session are designed for each person’s individual needs and strengths, and Kirsty works side by side with her patients to reach their goals – no matter how big or small they may be.

One of the highlights of Kirsty’s Pilates teaching is working with women during pregnancy. She also runs post-natal sessions to assist women regain the physical health after pregnancy and birth, and to rebuild their strength to cope with the demands on their body. Additionally, Kirsty has completed a Diploma of Pregnancy Massage which has added to her specialised skillset.
